DISPUTE SETTLEMENT

MORE:

Mexico and certain other third parties did not request to disclose their statements made during the panels' joint meetings with the parties and third-party sessions to the public. Therefore, the broadcast will not include statements made by Mexico or third parties that chose not to disclose their statements. Additionally, those parts of the statements by the United States and disclosing third parties that revealed, directly or indirectly, evidence or positions of Mexico have been redacted from the video recording.

The panels' joint meetings with the parties and third-party sessions took place at the end of January 2017. The public broadcast is being organized at the earliest possible opportunity, taking into account the need to redact parts of the video recording. The broadcast will accordingly be held on 24 March 2017 in Room S3 in the WTO Headquarters in Geneva.

The broadcast of the original (English) version of the video recording will begin at 10h00, to be followed in the same room, after a lunch break, by the Spanish version at 15h00. Each version has a duration of approximately three hours.

The number of places in the viewing room reserved for the public will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis upon receipt of a completed registration form. All persons wishing to attend the public viewing must register, including persons already having access to the WTO headquarters.

Completed  registration forms should be sent by e-mail only to the following address: [email protected]. Applications will be accepted until 17h00, Geneva time, on Friday, 17 March 2017. Please note that the names of registered attendees may be communicated to the United States, Mexico or a disclosing third party, at their request.

Members of the public without access to the WTO headquarters are requested to arrive in good time, as they will need to present a valid photo identification to the WTO Welcome Pavilion and pass through security checks in order to access the premises.

Please note that any form of audio or video recording is strictly prohibited.

This notice does not constitute an invitation for visa or immigration purposes. The WTO cannot offer any support, including financial, for accommodation, flight arrangements or visas.
