At the request of the parties in the dispute “US — Steel and Aluminium Products (Norway) (DS552)”, the panel has agreed to open its meeting with the parties on 6 and 7 November 2019 to public viewing at the WTO Headquarters in Geneva.

This public session is expected to start at 10.00 am on Wednesday, 6 November 2019.  It may continue at 2.30 pm on Wednesday, 6 November 2019, and Thursday 7 November 2019, if the Panel so decides.

Public viewing will take place via a closed-circuit television broadcast.

The number of places in the viewing room reserved for the public will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis upon receipt of a completed electronic registration form. Applications will be accepted until 5.00 pm, Geneva time, on Wednesday, 30 October 2019.

Members of the public whose registration has been confirmed   will need to present a valid official photo identification on-site to obtain one badge to access the WTO and a second badge to access the meeting room.  They are requested to arrive in good time, as security checks may delay access to the viewing room.

Please note that any form of recording or filming is prohibited. As a courtesy to other participants, cell phones should be switched off during the public viewing.

The WTO cannot offer any support, including financial, for accommodation, flight arrangements and visas.
