The Committee considered the following agreements:
- Accession of Comoros to the Interim Economic Partnership Agreement between the European Union and the Eastern and Southern Africa States, goods
- Preferential Trade Agreement between Mozambique and Indonesia, goods
- Free Trade Agreement between China and Serbia, goods
- Free Trade Agreement between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, goods
- Free Trade Agreement between the Republic of Türkiye and the Kingdom of Denmark in respect of the Faroe Islands, goods
The Chair of the Committee, Ambassador José Valencia of Ecuador, noted that there were three new notifications of RTAs and early announcements of the signature of two RTAs. However, at least 67 RTAs that are in force have not yet been notified.
The CRTA also took note of the updated schedule for the submissions of implementation reports on RTAs. It noted that such reports were due for 235 RTAs with an additional 13 becoming due in 2026.
Next meeting
The next Committee meeting is scheduled for 25 June 2026.
