STATISTICS

Short-term trade in commercial services statistics

Monthly series for some 30 economies

Monthly trade in commercial services statistics are collected by the WTO Secretariat for approximately 30 economies. The figures are on a balance-of-payments basis, at current prices, not seasonally adjusted; they are sourced from the relevant national central banks or statistical offices. Monthly figures may not add up to annual figures published elsewhere in WTO statistical publications or online databases. Monthly statistics are updated twice a month.

Quarterly data in cooperation with UNCTAD

Quarterly trade in commercial services statistics are jointly produced by WTO and UNCTAD. They are sourced from the IMF and Eurostat, supplemented with estimates for missing data, as well as from national sources. The figures are on a balance-of-payments basis, at current prices, not seasonally adjusted. Estimated growth rates for the world and for selected regions are derived from available reporters. Quarterly figures may not add up to annual figures published elsewhere in WTO or UNCTAD statistical publications or online databases. Quarterly statistics are released every three months.
