Members submitting acceptance of Agreement on Fisheries Subsidies
At the 12th Ministerial Conference in June 2022, WTO members adopted the Agreement on Fisheries Subsidies. The Agreement entered into force on 15 September 2025 once two-thirds of WTO members had formally accepted the Protocol of the Agreement on Fisheries Subsidies by depositing an “instrument of acceptance” with the WTO. The full list of acceptances is provided below.
A total of members have submitted their instruments of acceptance of the Agreement on Fisheries Subsidies. The Protocol will remain open for acceptance for the remaining members and will take effect for each new ratifying member as soon as it deposits its instrument of acceptance with the WTO.
