The WTO Secretariat aims to provide its Members and the public at large with quantitative and qualitative information in relation to economic and trade policy issues.  On the statistics side its “International Trade Statistics” report is published annually.  It provides an overview of both short and long term developments in world trade in the two principal sectors, merchandise and commercial services.
