Trade & environmental technologies
Virtual 04/05/2022 - 3.00-4.00pm CET Registration
Climate change is a global environmental threat, whose growing consequences are already visible. Both climate change itself and climate policies have consequences for international trade and trade policies. Although the interlinkages between climate change and international trade are complex and multifaceted, a large part of the debate on climate change and trade is still often based on some misconceptions and oversimplifications.
The aim of this webinar series is to inform the debate on the role of trade and trade policies in mitigating greenhouse gas emissions and adapting to climate change. In this webinar, experts from academia will discuss the role of international trade in the development, adoption and diffusion of environmental technologies.
Each speaker will make a 15-20 minute presentation followed by a 15-20 minute Q&A session.
