Complaint by Ukraine (See also DS530 and DS570)

On 18 October 2018, Ukraine requested consultations with Armenia concerning anti-dumping measures applied in Armenia on the importation of certain types of steel pipes. The challenged measures were allegedly adopted as a result of the sunset review of the anti-dumping measures on imports of certain types of steel pipes originating in Ukraine and imported into the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union.

Ukraine claimed that these measures appear to be inconsistent with:

  • Articles 9.1, 9.3, 11.1, 11.2, 11.4 and 12.2.2 of the Anti-Dumping Agreement; and

  • Article VI of the GATT 1994.
