Séminaire sur les services bancaires mobiles

Un séminaire sur les services bancaires mobiles a eu lieu le 27 novembre 2014. Organisé par le Comité du commerce des services financiers de l'OMC, ce séminaire a rassemblé des représentants d'organisations internationales, des Membres de l'OMC et du secteur privé. Les discussions ont porté sur la manière dont les services bancaires mobiles peuvent aider les segments les plus pauvres de la société à tirer parti des services financiers et favoriser ainsi le développement. Il a également été question du rôle que la politique commerciale et l'AGCS peuvent jouer à l'appui d'initiatives dans le domaine des services bancaires mobiles.

This session will set the scene and provide an overview of mobile banking, understood in a broad sense, as encompassing the supply of banking and other financial services through mobile telecommunication devices. Presentations will discuss developments around the world, providing an introduction to the business, technological, regulatory and policy aspects involved in mobile banking. International organizations are also invited to discuss their work in this area.
