Appellate Body Members and Secretariat back to top
The Appellate Body is composed of seven
Members who are appointed by the DSB to
serve for four-year terms, with the possibility of being reappointed once.
The Appellate Body membership shall be broadly representative of membership
in the WTO. The Appellate Body receives administrative and legal support
from the Appellate Body Secretariat.

established under the DSU and the Working Procedures for Appellate
Post Employment Guidelines back to top
On 16 April 2014, the Appellate Body circulated Post Employment Guidelines that it has adopted for former Appellate Body Members, former Appellate Body Secretariat staff, and former interns at the Appellate Body Secretariat, and requested the cooperation of WTO Members in facilitating compliance with these guidelines.

25 March 2015: Peru filed a Notice of Appeal in Peru — Additional Duty on Imports of Certain Agricultural Products (DS457).
28 November 2014: The United States filed a Notice of Appeal in “US — Certain Country of Origin Labelling (COOL) Requirements” (Article 21.5 ľ Canada and Mexico) (DS384, and DS386).
6 January 2015: Viet Nam filed a Notice of Appeal in “United States — Anti‑Dumping Measures on Certain Shrimp from Viet Nam” (DS429).
26 January 2015: India filed a Notice of Appeal in “India — Measures Concerning the Importation of Certain Agricultural Products” (DS430).
